Respect Meeting Newcastle 12/12/04

Free Babar Ahmad were invited by Newcastle Respect to highlight Babar Ahmad's case. Mrs Ahmad attended the public meeting and around 50 people turned up. Following the presentation by Free Babar Ahmad, there were some questions relating to his case. These included what people can do to help the campaign and also the point was raised by a number of people of supporting campaigns such as ours needs to happen to fight the injustice which is taking place. A number of individuals were moved by Babar's case, and in turn visited the stall. Many people showed willingness to lobby their MP and also write to Babar.
