After the decision by the IPCC to only discipline one officer, the family of Babar Ahmad have refused to attend the disciplinary hearing which is due to take place next month. The initial investigation carried out by the IPCC was not conducted satisfactorily as highlighted in the letter above.

The family including Babar will not take part in any show proceedings where only one officer will be subject to disciplining. We believe that ALL six of the Police officers involved should be prosecuted for what they did to Babar and our fight for justice will continue until this is done.
